On April 17th 2011, Gene Gillikin granted permission on behalf of Item 9 to host their recordings on the Live Music Archive:
Hi,
My name is Gene Gillikin and I am the founding member, guitar player, and singer of the band Item 9 from Greenville, NC. We would like to be included in the archive and give full permission and encourage anyone and everyone to audio or video record any live performance of this band. Furthermore, we also encourage sharing of any and all of these recordings in any format (excepting vinyl) as long as it is kept free to all and is never used for personal monetary gain.
